The SENCO regularly reviews assessments and has discussions with class teachers, teaching assistants and LSA’s regarding children’s progress.
Structured conversations take place between teachers/ the SENCO. Any child who is not making expected progress will be monitored and additional support given where deemed necessary.
Children are identified at the earliest possible opportunity and targeted intervention provided when needed.
As a school we have regular SEND forums when specific children and classes are discussed.
Parents are encouraged to speak to staff if they have a concern about their child or are experiencing family problems. A Team Around the Family can provide support for children and families.
